7 Female fitness YouTubers to follow (for home workouts)

For when you just don't feel like going to the gym, or want to fit in an at-home workout inbetween your busy schedule, here are seven female fitness YouTubers to follow for all your fitness needs

Gyms can sometimes feel a bit daunting, can't they? As well as a costly membership fee, perhaps you want to avoid unwanted ogling. Or maybe you simply don't have the time to physically go elsewhere in order to sweat with a bunch of strangers.

Whatever the reason for your gym session aversion, there are loads of YouTubers to follow who can guide you through a home workout, whatever your fitness level or goals. Just make sure you don't spend all of that money you're saving on unhealthy takeaways instead!

A certified CrossFit coach, when it comes to Anna Engelschall's home workouts, she's definitely not messing around. Having suffered from an eating disorder in the past, Anna realised that she needed to change her mindset and to focus on being strong instead of being skinny.

Setting the goal for her Team Grow to become the best versions of themselves, Anna offers full length (seriously sweaty) workout videos, Tabata, HIIT and strength workouts to build your muscles and boost your mood

2. Caroline Girvan

An ultra runner, triathlete, certified nutrition coach and kettlebell expert (which is no surprise when you see the size of her biceps), Caroline posts at home workout videos to encourage others to strive to be the healthiest and strongest version of themselves.

Beginning her fitness journey at home with just her dumbbells and her phone, Caroline offers a range of fitness series if you want to follow a schedule, or you can pick and choose from her videos to ensure your workouts are as rich in variety as they are in endorphins. Each workout is around 30-40 minutes long, and will have your arms aching and your blood pumping.

3. Heather Robertson

If you want a talkative workout that'll bring a smile to your face as well as a burn to your biceps, Cassey is the one for you.

Featuring mostly hip hop and pop bangers, Dre knows that "even good girls gotta get down sometimes", and offers choreographed, high intensity, full-length dance classes, all you have to do is clear some space and follow along.
