"Wedding season has officially begun"

VegasSlotsOnline has conducted new research to reveal the top cities across Europe and the UK for hen weekends, taking into account the average costs of drinks and Airbnbs in each city as well as yearly search volumes for "stag do in [insert city]", looking at 55 cities overall.

The best hen do destinations

Budapest is crowned the top city for a hen-do in Europe, thanks to cheap pints (£1.86) and accommodation (£58.70). This city has come in first on the list of hen do hotspots, though it’s interesting to note that the number of people interested in hen trips in the city is just one-sixth (3,120) of those searching for stag dos.

Prague comes in second place. The Czech capital’s nightlife options are amongst the most impressive of any European city. And, even more impressively, they aren’t that expensive, with the ranking’s cheapest cost for a cocktail (£7.00) and for a pint (£1.82). The best clubbing and drinking spots are almost always outside Prague’s centre, so even if the average cost of an Airbnb is not among the cheapest (£83.66), you can still book your hotel far from the centre and closer the party area.

Lisbon - best hen do destinations

Lisbon, Portugal

Lisbon is ranked as the third best destination for hen dos, with 3,840 yearly searches on Google. It’s the ideal place for those ladies looking for cheap cocktails (£7.00) and warm temperatures—July is the hottest month in Lisbon, with an average temperature of 23.5°C.

Several UK locations have ranked highly for hen trips, including Liverpool at 4th place. This city is indeed the most searched of all (10,560 searches per year) and offers places like Concert Square and Albert Doc, which provide one-stop nightlife shops where you can party the night away without the need to flag a cab to get to your next venue.
