The most romantic resorts around the World

The most romantic resorts around the World
Sometimes we need to step out of the daily humdrum and have quality time as a couple so that we can rekindle the spark. What better place than on a romantic holiday?
You don’t need a special occasion to take a romantic holiday away. You can jet off at any time of year when you feel you need a breather - away from work, the family, kids, or whatever it is that’s getting in the way of connecting with your loved one. Or perhaps you’re in need of self-love and seeking some tranquil time alone? With Valentine's Day fast approaching, there’s no better time to get away. Let’s take a look at the most romantic resorts around the world.

What about the kids?

Believe it or not, it’s still possible to have a romantic holiday with the children in tow if you choose accommodation with plenty of privacy and a kids’ and teens’ club to occupy them. Some resorts these days have a strict adults-only area for you to hide away in, so you have the peace and quiet you deserve.
You could opt for a completely adults-only resort, and there is a wonderful selection. Head off on an Arabian adventure under star-studded skies at the adults-only Al Maha in the Dubai Desert. Or maybe a charming candlelit dinner in the hilltop restaurant at Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa sounds divine?
Or what about dining in an underwater restaurant in the Maldives? There’s not one but two gorgeous island resorts where you can access this! Head to Hurawalhi Island Resort & Spa for a real experience.
Perhaps you wish to stay closer to home? For adults-only romance, we adore the Greek Islands, whether you fancy an amorous beach holiday in Corfu at Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort, or a bedazzling and elegant stay in one of our favourite Zakynthos resorts, Lesante Blu Exclusive Beach Resort.

The beauty of boutique

You may prefer the anonymity of a larger resort, where you can blend in and be in your bubble with a larger array of amenities and facilities, however boutique hotels have a special allure to them with their smaller, more intimate vibe.
You could stay in an old monastery in Majorca’s Son Brull Hotel & Spa, or in a suite in a beautifully-restored 100-year-old olive mill in Corfu at The Olivar Suites. Rather than a hotel room, you can stay in a private villa with a boutique vibe all to yourself. We’re sure you’ll be tempted by an overwater villa on the small Maldivian island of Komandoo Island Resort & Spa.

Travel the World with someone

It’s an amazing feeling to travel with someone, as more often than not a relaxing holiday brings you closer together. You can share a smile at quirky touches you discover along the way, such as the white giraffe that holds a chandelier at the super cool Royal River Luxury Hotel in Tenerife, or at Mystique, A Luxury Collection Hotel in Oia on Santorini Island, which has been carved into the rugged Caldera cliffs and holds a secret wine cave restaurant.
Take each day at your own pace. You might like to spend it in a rooftop spa, which you can do in Cyprus at the Annabelle Hotel. Or you could even learn to make Spanish ceramics together in Majorca at Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa!
Fancy being spoiled with a private butler who can arrange your every whim? Then you’ll love the service at Carpe Diem Santorini. Or do you just want to get away from everything and everyone? Head to East Winds in St. Lucia where you can stay in an individual colonial-style clapboard cottage, which is ensconced in tropical gardens for a Caribbean romance. You’ve always got the love with us!
