BY READERS DIGEST

5th Feb 2019 Technology

Being a top company in any industry means putting in a lot of hard work to beat the competition. This is especially true in tech because all the top tech companies are constantly competing to find the best candidates to further their business.

As a job candidate in the tech industry, it’s a good idea to keep tabs of which tech companies are considered the best to work for at any given time. Whether you’re looking to start a career path toward working for Google or figure out the best place to take your talents, here are some of the best tech companies to work for in 2019.

Netflix

It should come as no surprise that the tech giant that revolutionised streaming is one of the best tech companies to work for in 2019. Netflix is not only constantly working to innovate its streaming services, but it also works with a host of new talent to create original movies and TV shows. If you want to be at the forefront of innovation, Netflix is a great choice.

Google

If there’s one thing we’ve seen with Google, it’s that they know what it takes to attract highly skilled candidates. From the great opportunities for advancement both inside and outside of the company to the slew of accommodations, Google is easily one of the best tech companies to work for.

Tesla

The need to innovate drives many people in the tech industry and innovation is precisely what Elon Musk and his team at Tesla do best. For the past 15 years or so, Tesla has been a household name in the electric car industry.

SpaceX

Another brainchild of Elon Musk, SpaceX, gets a solid spot on this list as well. For anyone who’s interested in the out-of-this-world side of tech and wants to work at a great tech company, there’s no better place to land than SpaceX.

Airbnb

There was a time when a lot of doubt surrounded the sharing economy, but it’s proven to be a worthwhile endeavour. Airbnb is the best example of this—a company that constantly innovates to bring a great service to its customers while keeping everybody involved safe and secure.

Apple

Apple isn’t for everybody, but if watching Apple events gets your juices flowing it’s a great place to work. Apple is consistently on the right side of tech history and because of this, offers lots of opportunity for advancement within the company.

Microsoft

Microsoft may not get quite as much credit as Apple in terms of being an innovative company, but it’s still the largest provider of operating systems in the world. If you’re looking for a rewarding job where you can stick it out for a while and move up the ranks, Microsoft is an excellent choice.

Ultimately, finding the tech company that’s best for you means figuring out what your priorities are and looking for companies who offer that. This list is a great starting point if you’re looking for the top tech companies, but it’s up to you to narrow it down further and find the best fit for you.
