Every year, a range of different locations across the UK play host to a huge variety of different car shows, each with their own special theme. From classic car shows to the more unusual events, here's a run down of our top five car motor shows taking place throughout the UK this year.

1. The Really Retro Show May 10th, Stafford
With a range of cars dating from every decade inclusive of the 40s to the 90s, The Really Retro Show offers a feast of retro cars, military vehicles, buses, lorries and more. Expect over 400 different vehicles, along with a Trade Village, craft stalls, food and drink options and a kids' race track to keep younger visitors entertained too.
2. Motorexpo June 8th - 14th, Canary Wharf, London
This June, London's Canary Wharf will play host to the 20th annual Motorexpo show, showcasing the latest vehicles from some of the biggest and best known automotive manufacturers in the world. Taking place in both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout Canary Wharf, visitors will not only be able to see new models and talk to manufacturer representatives, but will also be able to test drive certain vehicles thanks to the show's "drive me" scheme. With brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren and others proving to be the stars of last year's show, this free entry event continues to be a successful highlight of the motoring calendar each and every year.
3. VDUB At The Pub June 26th - 28th, Wimborne, Dorset
Billed as "Dorset's friendliest VW festival, VDUB At The Pub is a large and friendly, classic Volkswagen show that offers plenty of entertainment for all the family. Expect plenty of classic VW vehicles, live music, trade stalls, a barbecue and a VW competition on the Sunday.
4. Stars and Stripes Classic American Car Show, July 4th - 5th, Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire
The annual Stars and Stripes show at Tatton Park is the perfect environment in which to revel in all things American. From motorbikes to pick-ups, hot rods to Classic Cadillacs, all sizes and types of vehicle from the US are represented. Owners of such vehicles are able to exhibit free of charge, while visitors can enjoy not only these classic vehicles, but also US motorhomes, classic military vehicles, and a display that will feature over 100 different Ford Mustangs to celebrate the coupe's 50th anniversary. There will also be trade stalls, live music, children's activities, food and drink and more.
5. Ultimate Street Car July 31st - August 2nd, Santa Pod Raceway
Taking place on the Northamptonshire-Bedfordshire border, Ultimate Street Car is the largest festival in Europe that is based around modified cars. The Santa Pod Raceway allows anyone with a modified car to compete for the fastest track time in a range of classes, along with drag racing, show cars, DJs and bands, burnout contests and plenty more. If you're looking for a 2015 car show with a difference, this is one that shouldn't be missed.
