Get the look: Naomie Harris

Naomie Harris is fast making 2017 her year. Collecting an OBE, and BAFTA, Oscar and Golden Globe nods all in the past two months, she is a woman with no shortage of red carpets to walk. A fan of classic cuts and jewel tones, her signature style is the perfect inspiration for spring, based on statement pieces that can be easily recreated on the high street.
OBE outfit
A look quite literally fit for the Queen, the dress Naomie wore to her OBE ceremony was prim and proper without being frumpy.
The original frock from Mary Katrantzou may not suit everyone’s budget, but the geometric pattern can be found all over the high street in a variety of fun colours—we love this sunny yellow number from Joy (£31.50).
Teamed with a pearl choker (Forever 21, £4) and a pair of black pumps (Clarks, £45), this is a look that will transition easily from day to night.
80s party
80s fever has well and truly taken over the sartorial world, so it’s no surprise that fashion-forward Harris was spotted in this cocktail frock at a celebrity bash.
Opt for abstract colours against a white background to channel this trend without moving into fancy dress territory—this tunic style dress from Metisu (£43) is perfect for those who aren’t used to busy pattern.

Colourblock casual
Bottoms don’t have to be boring. A quirky trouser is a transitional wardrobe must have.
Naomie’s choice of mustard complements her skin tone perfectly and is played down by her monochrome top—we found one similar at Joanie for £25. For those who aren’t blessed with modelesque height, a kick-flare culotte is an on-trend alternative (New Look, £19.99).
A laid-back look like this is finished off with minimal accessories—we chose timeless drop earrings from AndOtherStories (£19) and some versatile boots from Kurt Gieger (£109) to finish the outfit.
Subverted suit
High fashion has taught us that there’s nothing quite as iconoclastic as a well-tailored suit. Proving that simplicity can make an impact, Naomie’s brought her double-breasted jacket up to date with some fresh white trainers and a glimpse of décolletage.
For a look that shows a nod to spring, we love this powdery blue pairing from Topshop (Jacket £65, Trousers £35) with some subtle snake print Adidas pumps (Office, £45).
The future is bright
The colour orange is more often linked to autumn, but as the weather improves it can be a great hue to add a little cheer to your day.
Naomie’s unusual dress can be easily replicated in separates—this Hugo Boss metallic skirt is an investment piece at £179 but will outlast the current season.
Dressed down with a dark shoe (Asos, £35) and a similar-toned burnt orange jumper (Warehouse, £20), this makes for the perfect smart-casual look for a low-key dinner or drinks.
