12-year-old's quirky Movember tribute to late grandfather

13-year-old William Heath was devastated when he lost his beloved grandfather to cancer last year. Inspired by the Movember efforts of his favourite rugby club, the Northampton Saints, he pledged to get involved himself.

Then aged just 12, William was at a clear disadvantage—he couldn’t yet grow facial hair.

As he has Asperger syndrome, William struggles with fancy dress but in honour of his grandfather, he decided to sport a famous false moustache every day of November.

Overall William raised an impressive £40,000 after asking for donations over birthday presents. His costumes ranged from Charlie Chaplin, to Hulk Hogan, to Ron Burgandy to Magnum PI.

Heath’s back with a vengeance for 2015, find out more about this year’s plans here.
