Take a 360° virtual dive around the Great Barrier Reef
This incredible video lets viewers explore Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in a rich 360° panorama. Simply press play and use the little hand to change the perspective.
Simply use the arrows at the top left of the screen, and you can control what the camera points at.
Filmed just off of Lady Elliot island, the video captures the Southern tip of the reef.
The immersive panorama was created by the Great Barrier Reef Foundation using a 360° camera called Seaview 360

A turtle nestles amongst the coral

Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest and is greater in size than the United Kingdom, spanning over 2,600km. It is also the largest living thing on Earth.
The reef is currently under threat from climate change as warmer ocean temperatures put stress on the coral and bleach it.

It can be just as interesting turning the camera on the divers

Watch the video carefully, and you might just spot the fish who tries to eat the camera at the end!
Seaview have created more 360° diving videos including a trip around Heron Island and a tour around the main science facilities working to keep the reef healthy.

That's not food!
