Bake Your Own Delicious Dog Biscuits
Here’s an easy recipe for making your own dog biscuits, as treats, instead of buying expensive commercial ones from a supermarket or direct from your vet.

Fido and Scamp’s Dog biscuit Treats

These wholesome treats smell so good coming out of the oven that you may want to try them yourself – if your dog will let you!

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 cups (210g) wholemeal flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup (250g) natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup (250ml) skimmed milk

Cooking Method

1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Combine flour and baking powder in one bowl. In another bowl, whisk together peanut butter and milk.
2. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead until the dough is pliant (about 5 minutes).
3. Roll dough to 5mm thickness, then use a dog bone-shaped biscuit cutter or similar to cut out shapes.
4. Place cut-outs on a greased baking tray and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool the biscuits on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
