BY READERS DIGEST

The human brain works in mysterious ways. It has its own ways of perceiving, comprehending and storing information. Based on the perceptual filters and subconscious triggers that your mind has embedded within it, the way in which a subjective reality is perceived can be influenced.

Many inindividuals repeat the same negative patterns within their relationships, unknowingly live with limiting beliefs, or struggle to maintain their emotional wellbeing. However, these things are not outside of our control. The first step to creating positive change and breaking negative patterns is recognizing the root cause of negative behaviors.

Thais Gibson is a personal development expert who educates people on the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind, and how it affects your daily life. According to Gibson, a person has the ability to create long-lasting change in their life by recognizing the mechanisms at work within themselves.

Creating a balance between the conscious and subconscious mind

Gibson was inspired to help others as a direct result of the challenges that she encountered in her early adulthood. She consistently recognized a gap between individuals understanding and actually implementing thereupetic tools, and wanted to ensure others had tangible processes they could use to create real change in their lives. This was when she began her research into the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind. Thais pursued an academic and empirically-based path where she obtained a BA in Psychology and then a Master's degree in Transpersonal Psychology. Following this, she completed over thirteen certifications ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming, Trauma processing, and everything that came in between.

After years of leading a private client-based practice, Thais Gibson recognized the importance of sharing her knowledge on a broader scale. According to Gibson, the human mind is always torn between their conscious and subconscious minds' intentions. Ultimately, the subconscious is a huge bank of imprints that begins storing information from early childhood that impact daily life. This makes it essential to uproot outdated subconscious beliefs in order to effectively heal trauma, relationships, and other aspects of one’s life.

To share this information on a global scale, Thais Gibson launched The Personal Development School. Through the School, Thais helps people worldwide to transform their lives, relationships, and overcome substantial challenges. She is an expert on attachment-based trauma and the dynamics it creates within an individuals life. With guided techniques that update subconscious beliefs, Thais ensures that her teachings can create profound transformation. This is because she recognizes that the subconscious level must be addressed in order to see a change in conscious behavior.

As the founder of the Gibson Integrated Attachment TheoryTM, which expands upon traditional Attachment Theory, Thais explores how early childhood experiences affect adulthood relationships to others and oneself. Gibson combines this information with core wounds or negative beliefs that exist within the subconscious mind to illustrate how the subconscious can perpetuate negative patterns in people's careers, relationships, and other areas of life. Through her e-learning platform, she gives people the tools they need to update their subconscious minds to serve them in creating a healthier and more harmonious balance.

Not only is Thais Gibson helping people through her courses, but she has also penned down her theories in a book titled 'Attachment Theory: A Guide to Strengthening Relationships in Your Life.' This book helps people to make peace with their past and improve their future relationships. Thais' years of expertise and knowledge is rightly portrayed in this book, as it contains various quizzes, real strategies, wrap-up summaries that one can implement in their daily lives. Published on March 24, 2020, the book is a Best Seller in the Couples Counselling & Family Therapy category on Amazon and has gathered many critics' appreciations.

Thais Gibson's innovative approach to bring harmony and happiness to thousands is inspiration for many.
