Win one of 15 annual Arthritis Action gift memberships

How can you manage arthritis?

Arthritis Action is the UK’s charity focused on self-management. We empower people to take control of their arthritis by sharing tools, advice and information they need to manage the physical and mental aspects of their condition. Although over 10 million people live with arthritis in the UK, each person is unique in the way they manage their symptoms. Therefore, we enable each individual to choose the elements of the self-management approach that work for them; from healthy eating advice and exercise tips to pain management techniques and clinical appointments with our network of osteopaths, chiropractors and physiotherapists.

Arthritis Action currently runs 15 local Support Groups with 13 more groups opening in 2020 (including five virtual groups to cover remote areas in Scotland and Wales and to cater for those less able to travel in other parts of the UK). We are tackling the impact of living with a long-term condition such as arthritis, where people spend less than 1% of their time with a healthcare professional and are expected to manage their condition themselves.
