Barbecue sauce recipe
This sauce can be made in a matter of minutes but it can go along way. Barbecue sauce can be used in an almost endless array of dishes.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 3 minutes
Makes 250 ml
- 250ml tomato passata
- 1 tablespoon soft brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons malt vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan; stir over a low heat until the ingredients are evenly combined and the sugar has dissolved. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
