Zesty Homemade lemonade recipe
There's nothing quite like the flavour of traditional homemade lemonade. It's refreshing and healthier than anything you can find in the supermarket.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minute
Makes: 4 glasses of homemade lemonade

ingredients

  • 6 organic lemons and zest
  • 280g sugar
  • 500ml water
  • lots of ice cubes

Method

  1. Boil the lemon zest with the sugar and water and allow to simmer for a few minutes.
  2. Wait for the mixture to cool and then add the juice from the lemons.
  3. Strain the lemonade concentrate and pour it into a glass jug.
  4. Fill the jug with ice cubes and a splash of cold water.
  5. Pour into some glasses and enjoy.
