The ultimate Mojito recipe
Transport your taste buds to the Caribbean with this classic lime and mint mojito recipe.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 0 minutes
Makes: 2 mojitos

ingredients

  • 3 limes
  • 40 fresh mint leaves
  • 5 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 130ml white rum
  • splash fizzy water
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint

Method

  1. Evenly divide the limes, mint leaves and sugar between 2 sturdy highball glasses.
  2. Mash the mixtures together using a cocktail muddling stick to bruise the mint leaves and squeeze the juice out of the limes.
  3. Fill each glass with ice and divide the rum evenly between the two.
  4. Add a dash of fizzy water to each glass (according to taste) and garnish with the fresh mint sprigs.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
