The ultimate Mojito recipe

Makes: 2 mojitos


  • 3 limes
  • 40 fresh mint leaves
  • 5 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 130ml white rum
  • splash fizzy water
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint


  1. Evenly divide the limes, mint leaves and sugar between 2 sturdy highball glasses.

  2. Mash the mixtures together using a cocktail muddling stick to bruise the mint leaves and squeeze the juice out of the limes.

  3. Fill each glass with ice and divide the rum evenly between the two.

  • Add a dash of fizzy water to each glass (according to taste) and garnish with the fresh mint sprigs.

  • Serve and enjoy.
