Groom to Relax

If you think about it grooming and style has little to do with health, and more to do with being appealing to others. Without scaring anyone away with unruly hair, or stinky body odour. You may be fooled into thinking it is a social construct, made so we all fit in. But think again.

Wild Relationship

Groom in comfort

Grooming is the social glue that binds individuals together and reinforces existing relationships. It is so important to primates that some species spend up to a fifth of each day doing it. All monkeys and apes groom one another, flicking through each other's hair, plucking out skin parasites such as lice and ticks and removing flakes of dead skin and vegetation.
